Haley was afield study student at Brookfield Elementary School from February-May, 2015 in my first grade classroom. She came with superior knowledge, confidence, and prior experiences in the teaching field and was able to effectively apply these qualities throughout the semester, Hitey sucessfully performed some ofthe duties and responsibilities ofa ist grade teacher She planned and taught thre literacy lessons during reader's workshop and conferred with individual students during independent reading time. She used several diferent teaching strategies to help mee the needs of all he children inthe clas. Te stadents were very engaged wile she was teaching. It was evident that Haley spent a fot of time preparing her lessons. Haley s erative, organized, and dependable. We communicated often through e-mail and she sont me the lessons sho was going teach well in advance Haley not only developed a strong rapport with te children in the classroom, se also was very ‘well liked and respected by parents and members ofthe Brookfield Elementary staff, She is an outstanding model for children and I really enjoyed working with her in my classroom. Haley’s dedication to education and her professionalism would make her an outstanding asset to any teaching staff. Any district would be lucky to have a teacher with Haley's qualifications, Positive attude, and her love of children and teaching. I highly recommend her for an ‘elementary teaching position.
