Today we are going to be

playing flag football. Can
anyone remind the class what
the cots for throwing a football
are? There will be two teams
and one team will be wearing
pennies. There needs to be a
new quarterback each time
the ball is hiked. We are not
tagging people, but you are
trying to grab one of their
flags off of their belt.
Purpose:
The purpose of flag football is
so that students begin to learn
how to play football so that if
they want to play it later on
they know the rules. It also
allows kids to play football
with out the physical tackling
aspect.
