H. WHAT COULD GO WRONG WITH THIS LESSON AND WHAT WILL YOU DO
ABOUT IT?

Students may not seem to be engaged

o I will quickly engage students by asking them a question about their work or
reminding them of their task. Remind students to draw a picture.
Students may not know how to spell a word while writing.
o Have students raise their hand if they need help writing a word. Have them get
their word folders so Mrs. Lowery and I can come around and write any
unknown words they need to spell in their folder.
Students may not know why they want to be a certain community helper.
o Ask students what the community helper they picker, does. Remind the
student things they do for our community. Suggest the ways the community
helpers help. This reason(s) can be a reason for why you want to be like that
certain community helper.
