I think that this critics statement supports my

ideas because it shows that

Brockington Many of the animals, especially Boxer, continue

to work hard; but it becomes more difficult to
accept the new regime. The all-powerful
Napoleon carries a whip, the symbol of human
oppression, as his badge of authority.
Propaganda also makes Napoleon into the only
hope for the animals in their fight against human
outsiders.

The author already showcases Boxer as a hard

worker and shows Napoleon as a fierce sign of
authority. Boxer sees Napoleon with this whip but
thinks nothing of it, but Napoleon knows he has
Boxer by the reigns and Napoleon will continue to
govern Boxer. The only thing Boxer cares about is
his freedom, yet that nave horse does not realize
he is the in the outermost state away from
freedom. Boxer found it to be more difficult to
accept this new power, but he was chorused into
following the plan laid out before him.

Robb

And Old Major proclaims, ``No animal must

ever tyrannize over his own kind. Weak or
strong, clever or simple, we are all brothers. All
animals are equal!''

Old major was the original animal leader on the

farm, where he was wise and impartial. Old major
spoke that no animal should tyrannize over his
own kind, which is exactly what Napoleon did.
Napoleon thrived off the inanest and nave
animals. Boxer was never weak, but he was a
simple horse that was there to work. Napoleon
took advantage of Boxer and his simplicity. Boxer
not knowing he was under control began to put
failure of the farm on himself causing him to work
extensive and harder. Napoleon is the complete
opposite of Old Major. Napoleon tries to rule for
personal gain instead of for the good of all.
Napoleon feeds on the weak and innocent.

Thagard

Napoleon seems to carry aspects not only of

Stalin but also of Lenin. Snowball seems like a
composite of Trotsky and other opponents of
Stalin, and Boxer corresponds too many loyal
workers rather than a distinct example.

Napoleon is compared to a communistic dictator

who ruled with an iron fist and anyone who
opposed the leader they wear handled by the
leaders secret police. Mr. Thagard shows Boxer
as a hard working citizen who has no true say in

any matter. These hard workers like Boxer were

taken advantage of and forced to do what the
leader, Napoleon wanted. Napoleon sees animals
like Boxer and he knows those are the easy targets
he must control first. The working class has no
clue as to what Napoleon is doing until they are
already in his firm grasp.
Boxer exercised all his effort into the spread of
animalism by persistently working and expelling
more effort than any other animal. Now Boxer is
sent to perish in the glue factory. The other
animals realize their place on the farm now and
accept that they are under Napoleons hoof and at
the mercy of his power. These inanest animals
know they are nave and easy to control by
Napoleon, and have accepted that as their fate.
Napoleon drove boxer into the grave by constantly
pushing him and when Napoleon saw no use for
Boxer anymore he made sure to eliminate the
horse out of the picture.
