Introduction
- As students come in from recess have favourite things Q#3 up on Smartboard (call on
students sitting quietly to come up and move their name
- Inform students that we will be moving into the unit Life Learning Choice
- Go through agenda on white board Prioritize, Paul, Your Activities, Change, More
important?
- Hand t work-booklets
Body
- What does the word prioritize mean?
- As a class define prioritize and why it is an important skill to be able to prioritize tasks (time
management skills)
- Read through Prioritize goals Paul and complete activity as an entire class (whole group
with Smartboard)
- Students move tasks under each category (today, Saturday, next week, left over)
- Can then copy from the Smart board
- Go over what to do once done copying, your own activities prioritization (at least 8), change
- Individually students will make a list of all of the jobs/activities that they need to get done
in next few weeks
- Do you believe that people change over time? (Raise your hand)
- Once they are completed students can go on to describe one interest/skill has changed?
(may have to do next class)
Closure
- What is more important? Show slides and have students choose which is more important
between the pictures (stand up if you think __________ is more important)
