‘Year two has found Kelly Rose continuing to excel in her practicum. Afterall ofthe school
board meetings Kelly has attended, she now has a firm grasp on the workings of a board. Kelly
also continues to take a lead role on our PBIS team. She will be an integral part of our Tier 2
training team in the 16-17 school year.
While our guidance counselor is the designated “person in charge” when I'm notin the building.
Kelly has helped shoulder some of the responsibility. Her experience as a middle school special
education teacher leads well when trying to sort out not only the “what” but the “why.”
Kelly continues to grow asa leader on the 7th / th grade team, While she may be the newest
‘member of the team, her superior organizational skills and drive to do what is best for kids have
‘made her what | call the “glue.” Kelly makes certain that objectives for team meetings are
addresses and carried through. This often takes follow-up on Kelly's part
As enrollment continues to grow at DEMS, Kelly has had additional practic
schedules for the coming year. As she experienced last year, there are many pieees of the puzzle
that have to fit together to make the best schedule. Kelly has also learned that it isn't necessarily
's whats best for kids,
| consider it an honor to have been able to work with Kelly Rose as she has pursued her
educational administration certification, Should Kelly decide that this is her next step. I have no
doubt that she’s readyEd Admin Candidate initials \ \~ (indicates evalyat
