LAKE SQUARE MALL HOSTS ALL COUNTY STUDENT ART SHOW MAY 1-9

Best in Show will be Awarded During Gallery Night on May 4

LEESBURG, Fla. (April 23, 2010) – Artwork by students from 12 Lake County
schools will be on display at Lake Square Mall May 1-9 during mall hours.
Presented by the Lake County School Board and Lake Art Educators
Association, the art show will feature art from local elementary, middle and high
schools.

A highlight of the weeklong art show will be a special Gallery Night hosted by At
First Glance art gallery in the mall on Tuesday, May 4 from 6-9 p.m. featuring
music from student ensembles, refreshments and award presentations. Local art
critics and artists will judge the entries for ribbon awards and one Best of Show to
be awarded during Gallery Night. In addition, At First Glance will provide live
painting exhibitions by five local artists using acrylics, oils, watercolor and other
mediums. At First Glance also has donated an original oil painting for a prize
drawing during the Gallery Night event.
