Students will think of a problem in our world they are interested in and
they will conduct research to find sources and assess sources from
authors writing about the problem and/or presenting solutions to the
problem. Students will also be asked to find a literary character that has
faced the same problem and students will present their solution based
on the evidence theyve found.

Students are challenged to work in a small group to create a body
biography website analysis of a character (based on the elements of
plot) from the class novel. Students will need to review the assignment
together, decide which character they want to create and analyze,
identify specific roles for students to take part in the group, and
collaboratively work together to complete the task.
