Our batteries use sweat which contains sodium and chlorine ions that
carry electrons from the copper
(cathode) to the aluminum (anode). In
the process, oxygen is dissolved and
electrons continue to move from the
aluminum and out through the wire
towards the copper while passing
through the circuit (LED, charger, etc).
