Reflection

The article assignment helped me achieve a few of the SLCC

learning outcomes. I enjoyed reading a scientific paper and
putting in my own words what they had concluded. I believe
science has a lot of critical thinking behind it, you have to actively
and skillfully conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize, and
evaluate information to reach an answer or conclusion. I found
that is exactly what I had to do in order to complete this paper.
I have also acquired substantive knowledge that is of
interest to my field. It has me looking forward to reading more
articles that are similar in topic. Science has substance, practical
importance, and value when done correctly. There was a lot of
value in the article I chose, and the research was conclusive to
what they were trying to prove.
