The Modern Alberta Housing Project

Contract for Work

Details:
Greetings contractors,
I am the one of the investors in a large area of land that was recently purchased for the
development of a large housing area. You and your partners have been chosen to build one of the
houses that will be added to the area. Your past experience shows that we have made the right
choice, and we are confident that you can meet the expectations that we have set out for you.
This document is a contract that holds you to the responsibility of designing, building, and
providing electricity to a home that must meet the expectations that are listed on page two
of this contract. If you choose to accept (no, you do not really have a choice), you will be
given THREE WEEKS to design, build, and wire your house.
The house that you build will be inspected twice. Once for general features, and once for
electrical features.

Inspection Dates:
1. Feature Inspection Monday, April 11th
2. Electrical Inspection Monday, April 18th.
The Grade 4/5 contractors union (you guys) will provide the materials that are needed for
designing and constructing your house. You will need to start with a frame (a cardboard box) that
you will choose following the signing of this contract. Learning opportunities for certain parts of
your houses will take place throughout the building process.
Good luck,
Mr. Guyler Beckerson
Investor
