Maria Paz: Welcome to GN 94.5! I am Maria Paz Bohorquez
Santiago: Hello, my name is Santiago Rojas and today we will enjoy this program
with
Maria Paz: Pamela Perez! Most know as Miss Pam, english teacher in seventh grade
and in Samurais pals group.
Miss. Pam: Hellooooo guys and welcome to our program
Maria Paz: Today we are going to discuss very interesting topic
Santiago: Please, tell us about it!
Maria Paz: We are going to talk about the weirdest jobs in the word!
Miss Pam: Yes, and believe me, this a very interesting topic to talk about.
Santiago: It called a lot my attention, and I am pretty sure it will call yours too!
Maria Paz: But first, we want to start this program with some music, this is DNCE with
their song Cake By The Ocean

DNCE - Cake By The Ocean

Santiago: We are back, excellent song Maria Paz!
Miss. Pam: Yeah, really cool! However we are back and we will start this weird jobs
rating!
Maria Paz: Sounds good, please Santiago give us the explanation of how this rating will
work.
Santiago: Okay, it is really simple. We are going to share the fifteen weirdest jobs in the
world! The three of us are going to be here for listening you if you want to share other
weird jobs around the world.
Maria Paz: Thats true, so if anyone knows a weird job and you want to share it with us,
you can come to the radio station and tell us about this jobs!
Miss. Pam: The top fifteen of the weirdest jobs starts now!
Santiago: In the fifteenth position, we have a Golf Ball Diver!
Maria Paz: A golf ball diver!? Of golf? The sport?
Santiago: Yes! Sound very weird but a Golf ball diver has to search for the lost golf
balls in the waters of golf courses.
Miss Pam: They collect around 2,000-5,000 balls every day at golf fields!
Maria Paz: That is really interesting, and weird How ever, in the next position we
have the job of Worm picker!
Miss. Pam: That sounds very nasty, tell us about it!

Maria Paz: The job of a warm picker starts when everybody else is asleep. At what hour
do you sleep Miss. Pam?
Miss. Pam: Like at nine pm or late, it depends.
Maria Paz: Imagine that when everyone is sleeping, worm pickers get out wearing their
protective outfit in the dark, especially in rainy days, and look for worm colonies!
Santiago: And when they find the colonies, they select the best worms and stuff these
filthy creatures in cans that are sold fishermen in markets worldwide. Many of them
spent sleepless night yesterday.
Miss. Pam: Thats kind of repulsive, isnt it?
Maria Paz: Yeap, especially when you have to search for those kind of animals!
Santiago: I think it is a great job.
Miss. Pam: Sure In the fourteenth position we have a Dice Quality Inspector, this
work consists on test dices quality. Therefore, every dice has to go through a series of
quality control tests conducted by a professional tester.
Maria Paz: Really? Thats a job?
Santiago: Dont underestimate this inspector, he makes a great job!
Miss. Pam: We will continue this top 15 after listening this song, this is Ocean Drive by
Duke Dumont

Duke Dumont - Ocean Drive

Maria Paz: Aaaand we are back! In the thirteenth position we have a Pet Food Tester,
as its name says basically a pet food tester job is to verify and test the quality of your
pets food.
Santiago: Pet food cannot arrive on store shelves unless it meets a food technologists
taste. Not only does a pet food taster smell and taste animal food, they also chew it to
ensure pets eat high-quality food.
Miss. Pam: SoThink about them next time when youre feeding your pets.
Santiago: In the twelfth position there is a very weird and unusual work, Chicken
Sexers job, this job consists in distinguish the sex of chicken and other hatchlings. This
is for easier division of the farming produce such as eggs and chicken meat.
Maria Paz: Usually we can found this inspectors in chicken farms or in huge chicken
production centers.
Miss. Pam: Chicken sexers undergo special trainings before being allowed to identify
and separate male hatchlings from the females.
Maria Paz: Those trainings most be boring and weird How ever, what do we have in
the next position Pam?
Miss. Pam: We have in the eleventh position there is a nasty work called Roadkill
Cleaner.
Santiago: What is this work about Miss. Pam?

Miss. Pam: Well Santiago, as you know bird, cat and dog corpses on roads are always
an eyesore. While many of us try to overpass them, a roadkill cleaner has to pick them
up and put it in their car on a regular basis.
Maria Paz: Corpses? EWWWWWW
Santiago: The stinky smell of the rotten corpses make this job one of the weirdest. To
add to weirdness, some cleaners feed their families on fresh roadkills.
Maria Paz: Okay Please next one, I am shocked!
Miss. Pam: That is true! In the next position we have.
Maria Paz: Snake Milker! This is a risky job because it requires sucking out the venom
from live snakes. Snake venom nowadays is used in medical and scientific research to
develop medication and vaccines.
Santiago: Most of this venoms are applied to our vaccines because snakes
immunologic system is stronger to ours, and this helps our defenses to fight against
diseases.
Miss. Pam: Santiago which is the ten weirdest job of this ranking?
Santiago: In the tenth place we have Shark Tank Cleaner.
Maria Paz: What is this job about?
Santiago: Do I really need to explain? This guys clean sharks tanks in museums, aqua
parks and zoos. You can found many shark tank cleaners at Sea World!
Miss. Pam: Oh yeah! I saw one at Sea World, Shark tanks cleaners go into the tank
with just a wet suit and a brush, they spend up to seven hours a day in the depths of the
tank with sharks!
Maria Paz: Diving into a shark tank and spending hours every day among the deadly
creatures is a terrifying thought. But for some people, spending up to seven hours a day
swimming with more than 10 sharks is just part of their daily work schedule.
Miss. Pam: Taking the ninth position, we have Train Stuffers. This is a nonessential
work, train stuffers are workers that push people onto the train at a railway station
during the morning and evening rush hours. This means that they push and stuff
passengers into the subway to make sure that the space inside the train is fully use.
Santiago: That is true Pam, it is a very unnecessary work. When I was at New Yorks
subway I saw them, this work is very weird In the next position we have the job of
Fortune Cookie Writer!
Maria Paz: I love fortune cookies! But before talking about this job, we are going to hear
a song, this is Stressed Out by Twenty-one pilots.

Stressed Out - Twenty one pilots

Santiago: Welcome back to the best radio ranking of the world! Here in 94.5 the best
school radio station.
Maria Paz: The eight position is for fortune cookie writer, a fortune writer tries to do one
thing in a hundred different ways. Though the job sounds quite interesting initially, it
could become tough after sometime when you run short of creative ideas. People do not

want repetitive cookies and your cookie manufacturer pressures you to come up with
something interesting every time, which is not always possible.
Miss. Pam: That is the reason why we occasionally receive unusual messages.
Santiago: Taking the seventh position we have Vomit Collector, entertainment parks
are as good as their most stomach-churning rides. They not only make you lose your
mind, but very often your lunch, too. This is why many vomit collectors are hired to clean
up most thrilling amusement parks. Real rollercoaster ride of a job.
Maria Paz: When I was little I wanted to work at Disney World, but after listening that I
change my opinion
Miss. Pam: Going down, in the next position there is the job of Professional Sleeper!
That is the perfect job for me!
Maria Paz: For me too, it is perfect because my hobby is sleep 24/7
Miss. Pam: While there are only ten good reasons to sleep at work, there are countless
advantages of working in your sleep. These professional sleepers take part in sleep
studies and research and literally have a dream job.
Santiago: I will start to sleep in class, so I can be a professional sleeper.
Miss. Pam: Jajajaja very funny, but you wont.
Maria Paz: In fifth position we have Horrible Stunt Tester, this job is very risky and
nasty because this stunt testers have to make sure all those TV shows horrible tasks
such as swimming with snakes and eating a cockroach are safe before any guests or
celebrities do that.
Miss. Pam: Most of the realities are first done by this stunts, especially american ones.
Santiago: Arriving to the fourth place in this rating, we have Ostrich Babysitter.
Miss. Pam: That listens very funny Santiago.
Santiago: Possibly the cushiest job ever, it involves keeping an eye on baby ostriches
and making sure they dont peck the crap out of each other. That's literally it.
Maria Paz: Soo cuteeee! I am in love with ostriches maybe because I like too much the
dinosaurs and many people say they are the most near specie to them!
Miss. Pam: I have heard that too, I really like Jurassic Park movies! However, we will
talk about the top 3 weirdest jobs after listening this excellent song. We are going to
hear Cheap Thrills by Sia Featuring Sean Paul!

Cheap Thrills- Sia Featuring Sean Paul

Santiago: In the third position we found Professional Ear Cleaners! In India

professional ear cleaning is an art and one that's been passed down for generations.
Basically, these guys work the streets of India, cleaning people's ears "of any foreign
body, wax, and dust" with a cotton covered needle and a pair of pincers.
Miss. Pam: You can see a video about it, it is in Youtube and you can search it as Ear
Cleaner : Odd Jobs in India
Maria Paz: Basically, this video talks about the life of an Ear Cleaner. This video shows
how an ear cleaner leads a simple, honest and straightforward life in spite of many
difficulties.

Miss. Pam: In the second place of this top 15 there is the job of Cow Fart Smeller!
Santiago: Jummyy
Maria Paz: Ewwwwww Santiago
Miss. Pam: Theres a practical reason why the cow fart needs to be smelled. Its to find
out whether the cows are eating the good food and being healthy. Some alternative
medicine experts believe that each persons or animals flatulence has particular
nuances that can be used to detect diseases by a trained expert with a sharp sense of
smell.
Maria Paz: For example, an unusually meaty smell might be an indication of intestinal
bleeding or tumors. The job reportedly pays about $50,000 a year, but the job
requirements are strict. Only people from 18 to 45 years old can be accredited as fartsmellers.
Santiago: Forget the professional sleeper! Now I want to be a fart-smeller! Hahahaha
just kidding.
Miss. Pam: That is a looooot of money for smelling a fart!
Maria Paz: Finally, in the first position we have Odour Judge!
Santiago: Oh yes! I have heard about it, is like the fart smeller job, isnt it?
Maria Paz: Kind of This job requires the staff to sniff peoples armpits! Yes, this is just
to make sure the deodorant will work when it hits the market.
Miss. Pam: The human nose can distinguish thousands of different smells. People who
can distinguish and compare smells successfully may be able to find work as odor
judges. This is a highly specialized field, and it contains specialized sub-categories.
Because odor judges often test the effectiveness of odor-reducing products, the smells
involved with this line of work may be unpleasant.
Santiago: The salary in this field ranges from $19,000 to $52,000 a year, varying with
experience and seniority.
Maria Paz: This is the end of the program, thanks for tuning us! Bye
Miss. Pam: Bye guys, remember you are listening GN 94.5
Santiago: The best school radio station.
