thickener increases the viscosity of the formula without the addition of salt. Quickpearl* EGL pearlizing agent contributes an elegant pearlescent appearance.
Carbopol* Ultrez 20 polymer decreases processing time, due to its fast dispersion, and contributes to the stability of the formulation.

Procedure:
1.

PART A: In a suitable mixing vessel add Disodium EDTA to water and mix until solubilized. Add
Carbopol* Ultrez 20 polymer by sprinkling on the surface of water without mixing.

2.

Begin gentle mixing when polymer is wetted.

3.

Add Sulfochem* ES-2PK surfactant with gentle mixing. Mix until uniform.

4.

Neutralize batch to pH 6.3 - 6.8 with Sodium Hydroxide (18%). Mix until uniform.

5.

Begin heating to 75 C. At 70 C add Amidex* CME surfactant with mixing. Mix until the
ingredient has fully melted. Keep heating.

6.

Maintain temperature between 70 C 75 C for 5 minutes to ensure all ingredients are melted and
homogenous.

7.

Remove heat source and begin cooling with mixing.

8.

When PART A has cooled to 45 C, add ingredient 7, 8, 9 with mixing. Mix until uniform.

9.

PART C.: In a separate vessel, slowly sift Sensomer* 10M polymer into Deionized Water. Heat
to 40 C. Mix until uniform. Add PART C into main vessel with mixing. Mix until uniform.

10. Continue cooling batch to 25 C with mixing.


11. When batch has cooled to 25 C, add ingredient 12 and 13 with mixing. Mix until uniform.
12. Add fragrance. Mix until uniform.
