Laura- Hi welcome to 94.5 the best school radio station in the world we are Mariana & Laura from
7th grade
Pam- -and Im miss PAM, hello!
Mari-And today were are going to share with you the best places to visit before you kick the bucket.
So lets start
Laura-The first place is in our country Colombia, its called Cao Cristales, and it is the river with
more than 1 color, it is a beautiful place to visit.
PAM- the second one is from Venezuela, you must visit Mochima National Park, its designed to
protect the marine environment as well as the forests of the Turimiquire mountains.
Mari- The third one is in Switzerland, it is called Geneva Lake, this is a lake that has the most
temperate climate of the region, and its the largest inland lake wth the largest volume of water in
Central Europe.
Laura- The fourth place is in Mexico and of course it is Cancun, it is a very beautiful place in which
you can go to parks such as XelHa, that is a natural park with extreme water attractions and also
has typical things like music, food and things for their culture.
PAM- So, before we continue with the list, how about we listen to as song?
Mari- Yes, now we leave you with the song WAKA WAKA by Shakira.

Pam- and welcome back! The song that we heard is related with the best places to visit because
the video was made in Africa and talk about the world cup from 2010.
Laura- Yes Miss Pam, you are correct, now lets continue with our list.
Mari-The fifth place is The Great Wall of China, this place is made of a series of fortifications made
of stone, brick, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the
historical northern borders of China
Laura: the Great Wall of China was made protect the Chinese Empire
Pam- I love that place, I have never been to it but I have seen pictures and it is beautiful!
Mari: the sixth place is The Great Pyramids in Egypt. They are the most recognizable icon of
Egypt, together with the Sphinx. Most of the pyramids were built as tombs to preserve the
mummified bodies of the dead pharaohs, and keep them safe and undisturbed in their afterlife.
Laura: guys, did you know there are over 100 pyramids in Egypt?
Pam and Mari: No, we didnt
Laura: The Great Pyramid was built from 2.3 million stone blocks, weighing 5.9 million tons
Mari: Wow that is very heavy!
Laura- Yes, very heavy! The seventh place to visit is the Sydney Opera House in Australia, it is a
very famous landmark and everybody loves its design and beauty.
Pam- How about we listen to a song girls?

Mari- Hello! Welcome back again to the radio station, we were talking about places to visit before
dying.
Laura: the eighth place and my favorite one is the Stonehenge
Mari: Where is Stonehenge?
Laura: it is located in United Kingdom. An interesting fact was that It was constructed in three
phases.
Mari: Also it has been estimated that the three phases of the construction required more than thirty
million hours of labor.
