Civics is the study of right
and duties of the citizen
including theory and in
practical way. They will
study about the theory of
society and practice to be a
good citizen. They learn to
act in the society also the
knowledge about the
society.

These studies teach the
citizen about laws and how
to participate in their society
correctly. Civics is important
to make the citizen
understand their society,
political rights and their
roles to be a good citizen
for the society. This will help
the citizen to interact
together in the society with
peace.
T H E OR I G I N OF C I V I C S:
This branch started in ancient time by the Confucius in
ancient China and Plato in ancient Greece. It have changed
because of the influences of the western tradition to the
Chinese tradition. This brought the concept of citizen rights
& application of justice with different ethnic in public life.
