Our Program:

Kid President once said Sure, theres bad stuff in the

world, but theres also you. You can be anything that
you want today, so be bold, be kind, and be awesome,
repeat. Its like shampoo, but with your life. Any human
could live by this quote; you should be yourself and not
let anyone tell you different. Teach by what you believe
in, not what someone else believes. As a teacher the
best advice to give someone is to always be your
awesome self and most importantly, always be kind to
everyone surrounding you.
As a teacher I am responsible for ensuring that every
child walk away each day learning something new. I
make a difference in a childs life each day, instilling a
joy for learning. An effective educator is critical to a
childs ability to learn and develop. I strive to meet the
needs of each child. As a child life specialist, I am able
to assist children with their education within a hospital
setting. Many children in such environments are unable
to have an opportunity to engage in age appropriate
learning activities due to their medical conditions. I was
once in that position. There was a time in my life when I
was hospitalized for months with one problem after another. I became so far behind in my learning and education, I felt very isolated. I had no one to assist me with
my education. I want to make a difference in children
who cant attend school due to illness but who still have
a desire to learn!
I feel everything happens for a reason and every child
deserves to leave their hand print in the world. As a
teacher I impact children and assist in their growth and
individual development.
