carcinogenic effect etc. on workers

rubberized hand gloves, gum
boots etc. to cement plastering

Acetylene gas cylinder was found

leaking and welding was going on
nearby.
Consequence
Leaked acetylene gas may catch fire
from flying objects coming out of
welding process and the fire inturn can
cause the explosion of acetylene gas
cylinder. Explosion of cylinder can cause
severe injuries to the workers in the
vicinity.

Stop the welding work and stop

the leakage of acetylene
cylinder.

At one part of work site, piling was going

on and heavy noise was coming out of
piling equipments.
Consequence
Exposure to heavy noise from piling
equipments can cause NIHL, tinnitus etc.
to the workers working nearby.

Substitute the equipments with

those of lesser noise or provide
appropriate PPEs such as ear
defender, ear muffler etc. to the
workers.

machine whose cable insulation was
broken at several places.

serious injuries or death can happen to
