Skill Goals:
1.0 Idenify when it is appropriate to utilize a tax, tip, or a discount
off of an item.
2.0 Solve problems involving tax, tips, and discounts.
Directions: Savenndys Restaurant and Grill will be used as an
end of the topic review activity. Tax, Tips, and Discounts are
something students will use in their everyday lives so being able
to incorporate as much practice as possible will help them feel
confident when using these skills in the real world. Also, I think
that students can see this topic as a boring unit, so incorporating
a fun way for students to have a choice of what activities they
complete will help them be a little more enthusiastic about the
topic (Doubet & Hockett, 2015).
