LITERACY & NUMERACY:
What are the essential aspects of literacy/numeracy in this lesson?
In this lesson, students will come across new terms such as the Kingdom of God and denarius. By conducting
a brainstorm at the beginning of the lesson, this will allow students to see what they already know about the
topic. Also by allowing them to generate their own definition following the brainstorm will enhance learning
as they are learning from language that they can understand. Also in this lesson I have incorporated a reading
element. I will provide assistance should someone get stuck on a word or do not understand the meaning of
something.
