Key Contributions:
Developed engaging, real-world lessons based on Common Core State Standards to guide
students towards deeper understanding of the learning objectives through the use of
cooperative learning strategies, reciprocal teaching, manipulatives, and academic
discussions.
Facilitated daily workshops to allow for differentiation for learners including many English
Language Learners and many students receiving special education services.
Effectively managed classroom behaviors in 2nd and 8th grade through the use of Positive
Behavior Interventions and Supports
Analyzed M-Step, NWEA, district assessments, and formative assessments to collect data
to develop new ideas and adjust instruction to better meet the needs of students.

social and moral curricula in the classroom to facilitate mutual respect between students and

reading, writing, math, science, and social studies lessons in 1:6 setting using iPads and 1:1
setting using Chomebooks.
