Summary

I am a dedicated and diligent worker who has experience with recent

software and data extraction procedures in high stress situations. I
collaborate efficiently and effectively with others as well as provide
accurate information regarding new occurrences in the universe. My
previous training has taught me how to create connections between data
collected and images taken by high - quality telescopes as well as how to
behave responsibly and as a professional in limited time situations.

Objective

To obtain employment as an astronomer in an institution where I can

properly use my acquired skills to research and collect data from the
vastness of space.

Experience

National Optical Astronomy Observatory / Software Engineer

November 2024 - Present, Tucson, Arizona

Here, I not only worked on extracting data from telescopes by using

computer software, but I also increased my knowledge on how to
properly repair damaged software in satellites from a stationed
observatory on Earth.

University of California Berkeley / Observationalist

June 2022 -September 2024, Berkeley, CA

After I graduated from the University of Arizona, I wanted to develop

more skills for this particular career in astronomy and broaden my
knowledge of the universe. As a result, I moved to my home state to
further my learning of observing data. I not only observed data provided
by remote controlled telescopes at the Lick and Keck Observatories, but I
also analyzed the data in search for major astrophysical phenomenon
such as unnatural galaxy collisions or the distortion of an existing galaxy.

Society of Physics Students / Internship

June 2021 - August 2021, Tucson, Arizona

This summer internship provided me with an experience to use Hubble

Space Telescope images to survey spiral galaxies and their stability as the
black hole within them begins to expand. I was also able to put my
acquired active learning and listening to use when I was taught how to
use the Hubble Space Telescope to receive these said images.

Education

University of Arizona / PhD Degree

2018 - 2022, Tucson, Arizona

I studied cosmology and our golden age of planetary exploration. I

received my PhD Degree in June 2022.

Skills

I work well under pressure when investigating data to

solve a complex problem in a limited amount of time
Educated in a variety of procedures for daily exploration
of the universe
Effective collaboration and communication with team
members
