Support and scaffold students when they are drawing and writing .
Purpose: Activity one. (Guessing vocabulary)

In this activity the students will read the new vocabulary words and act.
Instructions:
The student will choose randomly a vocabulary word from the box.
Try to act the word.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


The first activity is drawing.

Materials:
Papers.
Colors.
Purpose:
Describe and distinguish between the weather.
Purpose achieved through:
Through this activity the students will draw the five weathers and try to distinguish (explain) .
Also, the students will be engaged to draw.
Instructions:

Students in group will draw the five weather in different papers( explore) .
Write and draw what they can wear depending on each weather.( extend).
Read to the teacher what they wrote.

How it will help both students and teacher?

Students:

Motivate them to learn because it combines fun and learning.


Activate to use the prior knowledge.

Check their pronunciation.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)


Purpose: Activity two. ( Hanging cards)
Distinguish between the types of the weather.

Materials:

Clothes hanger.
Cards.
Pictures ( sun, cloud, rain, wind, and snow).

Purpose achieved through:


In this activity the students will write their opinion about which weather they enjoyed, and
then read it to his/her classmates. ( explore, engaged, and extend)
Instructions:
Students will choose a/the weather they most enjoy.
Write why they enjoy.
Read for the class.
Hang his/her card in the clothes hanger.
