- is a reliable form of power that can create electricity
similar to dams

SCIENCE WORLD FIELD TRIP

What We Explored?
Why we went to Science World?

We went to science world because they explain things in kid friendly

us to understand and get a good feeling about our topic.
What did you find out that connected to your topic?

Well if found something called a water fortex and it is a little bit diffr
use water for energy and i thought that the water fortex was cool.
What information was missing from this field trip?
Well i could not find a tidal power turbine so that was kind of a
Dissapointment.

Who toured us
A women named Lyndsay Fraser told us a lot about renewable energy.She is also
Environmental biologist and a program specialist. And she also told us that the cooling system in science
world is runned by the cool water next to science world.I asked Lindsey if she wanted a tidal power plant
and she did she also said that they're working on making a tidal power plant but they can't because the
waters are on a little hill that is why so sientes are working on it.

DID WE SEE ANYTHING RELATED TO TIDAL

POWER
We saw a water vortex! This water fortex connects to tidal power because of they both
use energy to create power and changes the waters behaviour .

What did we also see ?

We also saw models of hydro dams and wind turbines.Since Florence was sick I took
some pictures of hydro dams and their was so many little water models it was really
cool i never realized that their could be local hydro dams.

Extra info
This is an example of a turbine
they did not really have tidal power generators they
mostly have wind power,hydro dams & solar panels.
Interesting fact science world runs on solar panels! But i
managed to look at turbine models and connect theme to
tidal power because tidal power also has turbines.
