Requirements and Recommendation Sheet

AP Psychology will introduce students to the studies of behavior and mental processes of humans and animals. It
is an interesting course that covers a variety of topics. It should be understood before enrollment in AP
Psychology, however, that this is a college level course and the work assigned will require time, dedication and
self motivation. The completion of this sheet will help you and I decide if this is the right course for you.

Requirements:

 Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior

 Minimum 3.0 GPA
 Excellent work ethic

If you feel that you meet the above requirements, please follow the procedures below:

- Go to our AP Psychology class blog at http://hghsappsychology.blogspot.com. Read & print out the course
syllabus and summer assignments.
- Complete this requirement and recommendation sheet.
- Make sure that you and your parents understand the AP Psychology course requirements and sign in the
appropriate spaces prior to returning the form.
- Completed forms must be returned to Mrs. Borges in Room 3130, no later than Tuesday, May 11 th.
- Your Honors/AP Recommendation Form will be signed by me upon confirmation that these requirements
have been met.
