Criteria: Portfolio includes all required work and all directions have been followed; Requirements: Content standards: 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 9.4, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5 Pedagogy standards: 8.2, 8.3, 8.5 and 8.6 Process standards: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 Semester assignment End of course reflection. You included all required elements. Student selected work accurately illustrates required standards; Nice work on selecting appropriate work and writing meaningful narratives. The only issue I had was your material for 10.3, 10.4 and 10.5. Remember that these standards are bullet points under the general heading of algebra and will therefore relate to algebraic reasoning. So, equality and equations mean things like 3x = 5, and mathematical models to represent quantitative relations refers to translating story problems into diagrams or equations, and analyze change is referring to ideas like slope.
Student narratives demonstrate mastery of the language of mathematics;
Satisfactory
Semester assignment and end of course reflection demonstrate an appropriate level of
sophistication in addressing the teaching and learning of mathematics.
