Murder of Luis Ramirez
A group of students from a small town in Pennsylvania had gone drinking after
the school football they played in. While walking, the students came upon Luis Ramirez.
They used hateful slurs like dirty Mexican and spic Then punched him to the ground
and kicked him in the head several times. Ramirez died in the hospital two days later.
The kids were found not guilty of the most serious charges and were only guilty
of simple assault. A second trial went through and they were found guilty of federal hate
crimes. The second trial also brought up police officers who were helping cover up the
murder. One officer who was called to the scene was in a relationship with one of the
boys mother. The officers gave the kids a ride home from the crime scene, told them to
get their story straight, and tampered with the evidence.

Murder of Rex McElroy
The small town of Skidmore, Missouri, witnessed the murder Rex McElroy in
1981. McElroy, who was the town bully, was shot and killed in his car while picking up
beer at a local bar. There were many witnesses to the crime, but when the witnesses were
questioned, nobody gave any information about the shooter. Even McElroys wife, who
was in the car when he was shot, didnt give any information. The case is still unsolved
and nobody has been taken to trial for the murder of Rex McElroy.

Murder of Brandon Ellingson
During a lake trip with friends, Brandon Ellingson was pulled over for boating
while intoxicated. Water patrolman Anthony Piercy had handcuffed Ellingson and put a
life jacket over his head. As he rode off, Piercys boat hit a wave and Ellingson fell off
the boat and the lifejacket fell off the due to his arms not being in the life jacket.
Ellingson drowned with no backup called for help.
The trial was taken to court and ruled that the incident was accidental. Evidence
was missing including video of the incident since the SD card was taken out of the
camera prior to incident. One officer retired after learning about the corruption as the
department withheld information to make the trial go in favor of Piercy.

Murder of Ty Sawyer
Ty Sawyer was beaten by Patrick Downey at a party in Middletown, Delaware.
Downey, who is the son of two former police officers, knocked him unconscious and
kicked him in the head. The Police ruled the death as not a homicide before the family
and friends of Sawyer knew about his death. Downeys mother took him to the police to
file a report that said the young men had agreed to fight. Other reports from Facebook say
that Sawyer did not agree to fight.

Nizah Morris
Nizah Morris was a transgendered person from Philadelphia who died on
Christmas Eve. An ambulance came for Morris when 911 was called but Morris refused
to go to the hospital. Eventually, Morris got into the patrol car and told the officer to go 4
blocks down. She then got out on her own strength and refused further assistance.
Minutes later, a passing motorcyclist almost ran her over as she was lying dead on the
street.
The police who were part of the investigation, misreported official logs while the
district attorneys office refused to give police files to the cicilian oversight board
reviewing Morriss case.

Caroline Small
A woman with a history of mental illness was killed by a firing squad in a Rural
Georgia town. Caroline Small was in an old beat up car as police chased her through a
small town. After she was shot, the police waved off the EMTs although Small was
clinging to her life. Hours after the shooting, Chief Doering stated that the officers had
feared for their lives and acted appropriately. Headline on the next days paper read
Woman shot trying to run down police.

Marcus Wesson
Marcus Wesson was arrested after 9 people were found dead in the back room of
his home. There were 2 adults and 7 children who were among the victims murdered.
Wesson also had his family living within the house that didnt tell about the murders.
Wessons family was like a cult and when the Children went to trial for their dad,
they told a story about how wonderful he was. The children were controlled through a
childhood filled with abuse and sexual assault.

The Freedom Summer Killings
In the summer of 1964, in a town in Mississippi, three men were killed in
connection to the civil rights movement to improve the Rights of African-Americans in
Mississippi. They were gunned down my members of the Ku Klux Klan and buried in a
dam in Philadelphia, Mississippi. They were not discovered until 44 days later when an
informant tipped the FBI.
18 men were arrested but prosecutors would not take the case due to lack of
evidence. 7 of the trials were mistrials while 3 of them were acquitted. The longest
sentence any of them received was 6 years. 2 of the men pleaded guilty, however, their
confession was never heard in trial.

Murder of Korey Kauffman
Korey Kauffman was reported missing in April of 2012 and was found in a
remote are off Central California in August of 2013. Frank Carson orchestrated the killing
after he believed that Kauffman was stealing antiques from storage containers on his
property. California Highway Patrol officers are suspected of obstructing the
investigation.
