A

This lesson plan is intended for a middle school art history class.
The students should have enough knowledge to find the
information they need from the library and the internet. The
students will have prior knowledge on the artists from the
PowerPoint Presentation on Monday.
State your Objectives

1. Given the Inspiration program, the student will create an


outline giving a brief overview of an artist's life with 90%
accuracy.
2. Given Windows Movie Maker, the student will create a short
video following the outline they have created in Inspiration
with 100% accuracy.
3. Given access to a class Google Drive, the student will
upload their outlines and videos for grading with a
completion rate of 100%.

The computers will be used to access the internet for information


on their artists as well as access to the necessary programs.
Inspiration will be used to create an outline, while Windows Movie
Maker will be used to create the short video. Google Drive will be
used to upload the projects for grading.
Require Learner Participation

Students will use the computers in the lab to complete their


project. The computers have Inspiration and Windows Movie Maker
installed, which will be used to create the outline and final video
respectively. Students will then upload their finished projects to
the class Google Drive to the Renaissance Artist Project folder
with the correct components and file names.
Technology is used to find information, create the outline and
video, and submit the project.
Evaluate and Revise

The students will upload their outline and video to the class
Google Drive, where the teacher will be able to view the projects
for grading.
