Modeling of the Concept
As a class we will discuss the three different types of
communities.
Guiding the Practice
Students will cut pictures from magazines of items that
remind them of their community. Students will then
share their posters with their classmates and explain
what type of community they live in.
Providing the Independent Practice
Students will turn in their poster boards with two
questions on answered on the back. 1. What type of
community do they live in and what is one thing they
like about their community. 2. What other type of
community have they visited or wish to visit and what
do they like about it??
