Report on progress
Meta materials, energy source and change of war
as we know it
As requested by the Global Treaty Council, a
select team of psychologists, engineers, physicists,
tacticians and mathematicians have been working
on the question how to minimize the collateral
damage of armed conflict and still keep the
psychological benefits for continued technological
evolution. We have tackled the assignment at hand
and have created new technology to use which
should substitute weapons of mass destruction and
heavy artillery.
Our major problem was explosives and any
long range weapons that were focused on large
scale damage. We have based the solution on the
principle where is speed, there is melee. For this
we needed to eliminate heavy armored machinery
and transport all together. Heavyweight armor was
the cause of such high destructive power weapons,
to ensure your target would be eliminated from a
maximum range. Melee combat would have no such
collateral damage, but the problem is the speed of
approach to the target. Heavy armor is needed to
withstand blows of gunfire and artillery, usually
