Introduction : 38 seconds.
Dear honorable chair and fellow delegates. Racism is a significant problem which
discriminate people base on their ethnic groups, races and skin colors. The reasons mostly come from
immigration that transferring millions of slaves. For example, Africans were forced to be slaves when
they moved in United States because most of them have a black skin color. In Australia, people are
classified themselves due to the skin colors and the citizen suffer from racism in the public places
because of their differences. It leads them to have a poorer mental health, and trouble in social
connection.

Racism in Australia begins from British arrivals in 1788, which contain white people to settle
in Australia. They control Aboriginal people to live under their rules. a survey of academic staff in
higher education, for example, claims that 70% of jobs and houses only offered to white people. So
that the native Australians have no right to participate in such ways. Moreover, the white people
usually insult the Aboriginal ones even though they are not use a violent action such as avoid eyecontact or conversations. The report in 2014 shows that 93% of Aboriginal Australians have a mental
illness and lead to suicide themselves due to the depression. However, the Racial Discrimination Act
in 1975 help to ensure humans right in public, for instance, they give everyone an opportunity to
have jobs and earn income. Also, Racism, it stops with me campaign which let everyone to participate
in community via social media to build up confident and response ideas to the racist.

There are simple ways to tackle this racism problem which include mix the races to be
educate together and let the Aboriginal people involve in events or campaigns.
In order to reduce the tension between each other, both white and native people must begin to
learn at the same level in education with there are no anti-reaction of discrimination. This will
empower individuals to have a fair right and privilege. In addition, every student will open mind their
perspectives and learn new races, cultures, and traditions. Another solution is to let Aboriginals
participate in many events to push forward them to join parts in society. It can build up team work
because they can share more ideas and develop knowledge, but it should be supported by the
government or organization in order to complete the target successfully. My expectation will create a
better relationship with one another.

To conclude, Australians government try their best to solve this problem by giving equal
right to everyone, but people still keep the ideas of discrimination in their mind. As a result, I suggest
to support the racial diversity both in school and society. People can share their opinions without any
fears in the public places. Although white and Aboriginal people are against each other for a long time
ago which cause many problems like inequality and lower self esteem, we can decrease a number of
racist and mental illness person. Furthermore, the discrimination of white people that having much
role in society for own houses and career will diminish.
