We will be postingoureventlogo withoursponsorships andalinktoour

WordofMouthMarketing

Each member of themarketing teamwillactively place themselves inpositionstosharethe eventwithothersthroughout

their daily activities.Wewill encourageourteam members toadvertiseoureventbywordofmouth, especiallywhenthey
are in recreational situations. For example if we are at the gym, at a concert or at a sporting event we will ask our
members to share our cause with others that they happen to come into contact with. This will help build a base of
interestedparticipantsthatwemaynothavehadothercontactwiththroughoursocialmedia.

TargetAudience

With running this dodgeballtournamentwedecidedtotargetcollegestudentsandindividualsaroundtheageofeighteen

andolder for severalreasons, onebeingthat wewantedtokeep ouragegroupabovetheageofeighteen forliabilityand
riskmanagement purposes.Bydoingthiswewould nothavetoworryabouttheplayershavingaguardianpresenttosign
forms andstay forthe tournaments entirety. We alsodecidedtotargetthecollegestudentsbecauseitwouldbetterallow
us to decide the time and day of the event because as college students ourselves we better know when we could
participatein an event like this.Lastly weknew thatcollegestudents are very connected into social media forumssowe
knew that marketing for thisevent wouldbeextremely successfulifwe wereto target it toanaudiencethatisconnected
toourmarketingsources.

PromotionalBudget

We hadalarge budget going into our promotion planbecause of all thehelpfuldonations from organizations and
businesses thatsupportedour event.Fortodayflyers andposters arenot themosteffectivewaysofpromotinganevent.
The easiest and most inexpensive way was through theuse ofsocialmedia.Thishelpedthe promotionalaspectof our
event, because wehad moremoneyto spendon getting prizes andother incentives toget participantsinterested inour
event.
Our budget was three hundred dollars for prizes for our event. We felt that Jazz tickets would be agreat wayof
getting people to come. We decided that we would spend two hundred and fifty for our main prize on Jazz basketball
tickets whileusingtheremainingfiftydollarsongiftcardsfromWholeFoods.Ourbudgetingwasverysimpleduetoallthe
