ASP-LUMS Internship Program 2014 for MBA (1.

5, 2nd Semester) and BBA (6th and 7th Semester) Students


Dear All,
Institute of Management Sciences is an implementing partner in the ASP-LUMS program, a USAID project, which is responsible for expansion
of services in strengthening and training CSOs and the GOP organizations in Pakistan. Dr. Shahid Ali is the focal person for the partnership. To
date, Dr. Shahid and his team were able to send 130 faculty and staff members from IM|Sciences for trainings all over Pakistan.
I am pleased to announce that the same team has also secured three internship spots in the ASP-LUMS internship program 2014. This is a paid
internship program and places students from BBA and MBA (1.5) program in reputable Government and Civil Society Organizations.
Details of the internship program are as under:
Eligibility:

Currently enrolled MBA (1.5) 2nd semester students or BBA 6th, 7th, and 8th semester students (as requested by ASP-LUMS)

Minimum CGPA of 3.0

How to Apply
The following documents must be submitted:

Up to date CVs mentioning your CGPA in Undergrad/Graduate program.

A Personal Statement (300 words) describing why you of all the applicants should get the internship.

Applications without the aforementioned documents/essay will not be considered.

The application must reach the following email by Monday 21st April 2014.

sarah.irshad@imsciences.edu.pk with the title ASP-LUMs Internship in the subject Area. Emails without subject will not be accepted.
Duration:

4 6 Weeks starting 1st June 2014

Stipend

A competitive and attractive stipend will be paid to all selected students.

Placements

Students will be placed in Government or Civil Society Organizations in Peshawar/KPK.

Outcome of the Internship


At the end of the internship period, each intern will:

Submit a comprehensive internship report

Participate in a debriefing session. Interns and their supervisors will share their experiences with each other.
