Measuring items: Voltage, current, frequency 1. 1. 2 Instant voltage regulation test (Governor test) a) Momentary and permanent variation of voltage and revolution (frequency) and time to be measured by suddenly load taking off from 100% full load to 0% load in running at rated voltage, out put, and revolution. (frequency) b) Same as above method, by suddenly applying from 0% load to 50% load and suddenly applying from 50% load to 100% load, momentary and permanent variation of voltage and revolution (frequency) and time to be measured. Speed is to return to within 1% of the final steady state in no more than 5 second, Voltage variation to be of within -+2.5% of the rated voltage. 1. 1. 3 Parallel running test (confirmed by manual operation) In case two generators running after No.1 generator to be running with 3/4 load at rated voltage and rated frequency, No.2 generator to be started and synchronized to No.1 generator and No.2 generator to be loaded equally to the load of No.1 generator. as same method, ‘The output of each generators to be running with the following load variation after adjusting to running with the following load variation after adjusting to rated voltage and frequency, 3/4-4/4--3/4-2/4--1 /5--2/4--3/4-4/4--3/4 and confirm that the load on any generators are not differ more than +15% of the rated output. In case three generators parallel running test to be carried out as same method. 1. 1. 4 Load shift test (confirmed by manual operation) First generator to be running of 3/4 load at rated voltage and rated frequency, and during load to be Shifted second generator as follows, any condition to be checked and confirmed in good operation From No.1 generator to No.2 generator. From No.2 generator to No.1 generator 1, 1, 5 Remote start stop test Diese! generator engine to be confirmed to start/stop by operation start/stop switch on main switchboard. 1, 1. 6 Automatic start test In case of one running generator in abnormal black-out condition, stand-by generator to start automatically and immediately after voltage establishment. 1. 1, T Insulation resistance test Before and after the above generator running test, opening ACB in main switchboard insulation Resistance test of between starter winding, space heater and the earth circuit to be measured by a 500V megger. Speed is to return to within 1% of the final steady state in no more than 5 second Voltage variation to be of within 3.5% of the rated voltage. 2. 3 Remote start stop test Diesel generator engine to be confirmed to start/stop by operation start/stop switch on main switchboard. 2. 4 Automatic start test By no-voltage signal of main switchboard, emergency generator start automatically, emergency source to confirm to be fed automatically via emergency switchboard 2. 5 Insulation resistance test Before and after the above generator running test, opening ACB in emergency switchboard insulation resistance test of between starter windi and the earth circuit to be measured by a 500V megger. space heater Main switchboard Air circuit breaker test: a) Reverse power relay test, The lag time of ACB trip to be measured after operation of reverse power relay after applying reverse power of 10% of rated output. b) Over current relay test(long time trip) ‘The lag time of ACB trip to be measured in flow of set value x120% (Note: Test to be carried out determined current to flow by slidac in opening CT circuit) ©). Preferential trip test ‘The lag time of MSB(breaker)trip to be measured in flow of set value x120% (Note: Test to be carried out determined current to flow by slidac in opening CT circuit) 3. Emergency switchboard Air circuit breaker test: Over current relay test (long time trip) The lag time of ACB trip to be measured in flow of set value X 120% (Note: Test to be carried out determined current to flow by slidac in opening CT circuit) 4, Transformers On ship trial, transformers to be tested under the actual service condition. 5. Batteries and charging device The charging/discharging function to be checked. 6. Motors a) At the running test of each auxiliary, check the normal running of motors, starters and controllers ete. b) Insulation resistance test insulation resistance to be measured. 7. Lighting equipments Lighting and operation test Lighting test to be carried out by every distribution box, and check and confirm to be operate in every part. Automatic lighting test of emergency light to be carried out. and projector, search light to be checked to light on. 8. Interior communication and nautical equipment Before ship sea trial, the following equipment to be checked and confirmed to operate in good condition. a) Alarms and signal equipments (including monitoring alarm, emergency alarm, fire alarm, other alarm and signal equipment) b) Engine telegraph, rudder angle indicators, navigation lights and indicators, sirenes, radars, electric revolution indicators, air horns, electric window wipers ete. 9. Emergency stop test of motors a) By operation of stop button in UPP.
