For homework this week, Atlias should continue reviewing his notes from
class, specifically his notes on Cold War Policy, as well as China & the Korean
War, which he should have already. This week, he will be receiving notes
covering McCarthyism, U.S. intervention around the world, and 1950's
culture. The next U.S. History test will be Wednesday the 9th, with a study
guide being handed out this Friday. The study guide will be required to be
completed by Wednesday the 9th. I will email you study guide as soon as it
is ready.

By the end of Wednesday's class, his group needs drafts of all handouts and
activities they will be doing for their presentation. I'd advise working on that.
They need some lecture slides, a notes handout, and a reading activity. So
finding out from him what his group would need him to do will be needed.

Is there anything due for Wednesday class for Atlias. I know they are working
as a group but wanted him ready. He indicated he didn't have anything due

I see where Atlias is showing missing from a March 9 study guide from Cold War.
This was completed and he has it with him. I think the schedule was messed
up from getting out early for state basketball. Please ask him for it if he doesn't
offer it up to you.

Good afternoon,
I am hoping Atlias is doing well, as we didn't see him in class Monday. In U.S.
History, we began a new unit, in which the students are working together in
small, assigned groups to create a lesson they will teach, on a topic from the
1960's. Atlias will be working on covering Culture & Counterculture of the
1960's. For Wednesday, please have Atlias come to class with 2 pages of
notes covering the topic, so he is ready to begin working with his group. It
was suggested students begin with their books finding information on their
topics (pages 987-991).

Hello,
Tonight and tomorrow, Atlias should focus on reviewing all the information his
group has on their topic, not just his own specific section. Additionally, he
should continue creating his portion of the lecture slides and the guided
reading notes for his section of the presentation. There should be a Google
Docs shared with him from his group. These should be completed when he
comes to class Friday morning. Friday at 3pm is the deadline for all the
group's material to be completed.

Hello,
This week in U.S. History the group presentations are beginning. There will
be a presentation on both Wednesday and Friday, so following each of those
Atlias should review his notes in preparation for quizzes each day.
Additionally, he should review his topic, so he is prepared for when his group
presents.

Greetings,
Over the long weekend, Atlias should continue reviewing the material from
the last 4 presentations. Additionally, he has a review assignment involving
a series of terms and their definitions. He needs to match up each term with

its definition and then place the matched pair under one of 3 categories (JFK,
LBJ, Space Race). He needs to bring in the 3 completed categories and their
corresponding terms/definitions to class Monday.
