Learning Styles
There are eight intelligences. These eight intelligences consist of Visual/ Spatial- Picture
Smart, Verbal/ Linguistic- Word Smart, Musical/ Rhythmic- Music Smart, Logical/
Mathematical- Number Smart, Body/ Kinesthetic- Body Smart, Interpersonal- People Smart, and
Naturalistic- Environmental Smart. From taking the assessment on the textbook my top score
was a twelve and my code was Interpersonal- People Smart. I do have to say that out of all of
these assessments/ surveys that Ive took I have never agreed with them until this one. My was
Interpersonal- People Smart, this means that I like to communicate with other people possesses
leadership skills, has lots of friends, is involved in extracurricular activities and much more. I
personally do like to study in groups, but sometimes cant because I get distracted and play
around which leads me to do my own studying by myself. I also like to get in debates with other
people to express mi opinion and also listen to their opinion as well. Seeing that my intelligences
that I got says that I like to teach the information to others, I believe that I do not excel in that
point which will lead me on trying to practice this skill, so when the time comes I will be
prepared to teach the information to others.
For The LEAD- Learning Evaluation and Assessment Directory my top score was also a
twelve and my code was Visual. There are three types of Learning Styles which are Visual- Eye
Smart, Auditory- Ear Smart, and Tactical- Action Smart. In doesnt surprise me again that I
actually agree with this assessment, I do believe so that I am a Visual learner. A Visual learner is
a person who thinks in pictures, he or she enjoys visual instructions, demonstrations, and
descriptions; would rather read a text than listen to a lecture; avid note-taker; needs visual
references; enjoys using charts, graphs, and pictures. I think that I agree with the pictures more
because I really like to draw and me seeing that anything as a picture really helps me understand
it more and give it more value.
For the third and final assessment, which was the Take the PAP- Personality Assessment
Profile, I received a score of ENTJ. The E stands for extrovert, which means that I prefer to draw
strength from other people and live in the outside world. It is also said that extroverts like to be
the center of attentions, I kind of disagree with this because I personally think that rarely I like to
be the center of attention. Another fact is that we make decisions with others in mind which I
believe to be very true. The N stands for intuitive, which says that we are not very detailoriented, which I disagree with. Another statement is that we are really innovative people and
again I disagree with this statement. The T stands for thinkers, a statement that is said is that we
are very logical people, but I feel that at times when Im with my friends I tend not to think
things through and end up doing something I shouldnt. The final letter is J which I completely
agree with, judgers are very orderly people. I believe that I have to have structure in my life.
