Long time ago, there lived a priest who was very poor but very lazy too. He never wanted to
do any work and used to dream of being rich one day. He got his food by begging for alms.
One day he got a pot of milk as part of alms. He was feeling like a child with a new toy. He
got back home with the pot. He boiled the milk and drank some of it. He put the remaining
milk in the pot adding little curd to it for converting the milk to curd. He then went to his bed
to take rest.

miseries would be gone. His dream went on and his thoughts turned to the pot of milk he

ghee by heating the curd and would sell the ghee in the market and make some money. I
would then buy a hen from that money. The hen will lay many eggs which will hatch and

there will be many more hens and cocks. Soon I will have poultry farm of my own. He kept
on envisaging.
I will sell all the hens then and will buy some cows to open a dairy farm of mine. All the
people will buy milk from me and I will be very rich and soon will buy gold jewellery. The
king will buy jewellery from me. I will be so rich to marry a beautiful rich girl and will have a
handsome son. If he does any mischief, I will be very angry and will teach him lesson with
my stick. During his dream, he impulsively picked up the stick next to his bed and
thinking that he was beating his son, he raised the stick and hit hard the pot. The pot of milk
broke and he got up from his sleep. Then only he realised that he was daydreaming.
