Questionnaire analysis to my radio trailer and film poster audience

research
When asking my target audience what their main mode of transport
is, the majority replied with driving an automobile. This would mean
that they would be driving past many buses, bus shelters and other
mass marketing campaigns. This has lead to come up with an idea
that instead of just producing my film as a magazine print in
possible Empire and the cosmopolitan magazine but consider the
idea of mass marketing my poster on to buses, billboards and bus
stops. This way whilst a car is stuck in traffic they can also be
targeted by my advertising, potentially ending up watching my film.

In question 2 I noticed that a large proportion of those I asked were

in the age range of 17-24, and then 25-35. This is good as this is the
age ranges that I am trying to target. By successfully gaining
responses from this target audience, I can gain effective responses,
which will lead to be being able to adapt my whole campaign to
target their wants specifically.

Furthermore, I gained an evenly split response from both females

and males. This is great because then I can go on to target both
genders, which is what I intended to do in the first place. By hearing
from both genders I will be able to include a mix of their likes and
then by targeting both genders, produce a mass audience; creating
a higher revenue production.

With my questionnaire, I attached three different posters (A, B, C)

this allowed me to see which poster the audience preferred the
most. This lead me on to ask my question of why they liked this
poster the most. Overall, Were the Millers was the most successful
at targeting the audience and the most popular reason was the
actors that were being shown in the film. This led to me being
almost certain that I wanted to have my actor on the front page.
This is because if the audience likes the actor then they may like
other films he may have been in. This would lead to them linking the
actor and my film, resulting in them going to see it.

In this question I was happy to find that all of my target audience

that I asked listened to the radio. This allowed me to see that my
radio trailer may be a successful way of targeting my audience. I
then went on to ask what was the most popular radio station out of
the ones that they listen too. Overall it was concluded that capital
was the most listened to radio channel out of all of my audiences
responses. This led to me thinking about producing my radio trailer
on to Capital FM.

When asking the audience what would catch their attention whilst
watching a radio trailer, it was found very similar responses.
Therefore I have decided to include as many as I can. Such as a
strong voice over, backing music and sound effects, lines from the
film and all of the information about its release date and actors
names. These are going to make sure that I can capture the
audiences attention and draw them in to make sure that my film
gains the most capital as it can.
The last question that I asked my audience was how often they
watched films. I wanted to make sure that the audience that I had
just sent questionnaires to actually liked watching films, otherwise
they wouldnt actually end up watching my film, and also would not
be my target audience. However, it was found that everyone I asked
in my questionnaire watched films.
