childrens literature. This site explains that literature is more of an experience then it is taught.

This site gives links to other sites all with useful information for teachers about teaching
childrens literature. It provides links to potential lesson plans and ideas for lesson plans. This
site provides a wide variety of information of links to particular sites that give good information
about childrens literature and how it can be used in a classroom setting.

This site gives a good explanation and good detail for why childrens literature is important. It
also stresses the importance of having a variety of genres of childrens literature to chose from
such as folklore. This site describes the development of elementary school students and how to
choose literature that is appropriate for their age and how to teach childrens literature properly
with regards to age and maturity level.

This site contains information about the importance of childrens literature. This sites also gives
interesting and exciting activities you can do potentially with your students. This site also gives
some great information about what sort of books to include in your classroom library. This site
is very useful if youre looking to get ideas for activities you can do in your classroom with your
students.
