It is with great pleasure that I write this letter or recommendation for Mr. Boyer. Kolton Boyer has
been a student teacher in my sixth grade class for the second semester of the 2015-2016 school
year. During this period he has taught physical and life science to 145 sixth grade students with
varying needs.
Mr. Boyer is to be commended for his professionalism. During this time he has planned and
implemented homework, quizzes and unit tests. Kolton has successfully demonstrated his
awareness of different learning styles and has effectively adjusted assignments to meet the varied
needs of students. His units are thoroughly prepared and implemented. Kolton has made an effort to
vary coarse material and present it in different ways. He is successful in monitoring and adjusting to
various schedule changes in order to complete the work.
I have found Kolton to possess a positive and enthusiastic personality. He has a great rapport with
the students he works with and is always ready with a smile and a kind word. I have found that other
team members have accepted him as a working member of our team and he has a positive working
relationship with each one of them, as well as with other staff members.
I am confident that Mr. Boyer will be an asset to any staff that he works with. He is confident,
knowledgeable, and has the skills to be an outstanding teacher. I believe that he will continue to
