ANew Confidence
In preparation for this writing prompt, I had a pretty lengthy discussion with my
suitemates about the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. With all of my roommates being native to North
Carolina, the topic made it more interesting to listen to and to talk about. What I did initially,
‘was introduce them my first few slides and got a perspective on how the initial parts of the 4
Presentation attracted their attention. Their opinion said it looked clean, professional, and a good

because I couldn't sce them being thrilled about a lighthouse. This fascination made me kindof
appreciated my topic more and gave me more confidence to work on it. This confidence only
will result in a better final product because I want to fully captivate, inform, and entertain the
audience. I believe this was a different approach to preparing for a project, but it worked, The
conversation about my project, which surpassed well over half an hour, gave me insight on my
