What makes for a good conversation? A bad conversation? How can these
features/characteristics transfer to writing?
A good conversation is engaging, lively and fun. A bad conversation is boring and
mundane. Ive found that the people I have the best conversations with are individuals who I
have little in common with. I enjoy these conversations because I learn a lot from them. I am a
liberal and when I speak to more conservative individuals I learn a whole lot. Although I may not
agree with their point of view, I still manage to leave my bubble of general knowledge and enter
into someone elses bubble of knowledge.
