I have the pleasure of writing this letter of recommendation for Kapi'olani Community
College (KCC) nursing student Christine Rombawa. I had the opportunity to be her course and
clinical instructor for NURS 360 Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in the spring of 2016.
Christine is a good student. She is always on time and prepared for clinical. She is able to
actively engage with a diverse population of clients with issues of altered mental health.
Christine brings life experience, a caring, committed attitude and a pleasant sense of humor to
the clinical group.
Christine demonstrates critical thinking skills and the ability to connect classroom
learning to practice. Christine Rombawa is a caring, invested student nurse. I am confident that
she will work hard to succeed in any area of professional or academic nursing she may pursue.
