Test

call to MVTS II using SJ Phone

1. Download SJ phone from ftp site and install, the softphone only works on
Windows 32 bit environment.
2. Create new profile using profile type Call through SIP Proxy

a. Create new profile name
b. Select Calls through SIP Proxy
c. Create account information, using your source phone number as
account and caller ID would be a good idea to trace calls in CDR.

d. Enter initiation information by checking the nine boxes as shown.

e.
Enter SIP server address as Traffic Exchange address given to the
partition and use standard SIP port 5060, the IP address shown is only an
example. Use the one assigned to your partition.


3.
Create corresponding customer authentication record in MVTS II, tech
prefix 223366 is used for this example. IP address and Netmark should be left
blank.

Create corresponding equipment record in MVTS II

Check if SJPhone is registered as shown.


Corresponding registration information could be checked on MVTS II as shown.

Note:


1. By changing the routing plan and rate plan in customer authentication
record, user can test call to corresponding rate and routes accordingly.

configurations on MVTS II.
