BREAKOUT SESSION OF CLUSTER 5

AFTER ACTICITY REPORT
The breakout session of cluster 5 (whole of society) started at 1:30 pm where
the emcee Mr. Raymond Patrick Maximo acknowledged the participants. He called
Dir. Renato Solidum Jr., for the groupings. The participants were grouped into NGOs,
NGAs, and Representatives from the Office of the Senate, GOCCs, Academe,
Transportation, Utilities, and DOST Systems.
Mr. Maximo gave instructions and
discussed what is contained in the DVD. It contains information or data that will be
used during the lecture and workshop.
Mr. Maximo highlighted the importance of google earth. It shows maps that
overlays different types of hazards. The organizations can study it and use them in
their advantage.
Afterwards, Dir. Solidum discussed the workshop mechanics or objectives. He
informed the participants that DOST prepared 132 list of activities. It is a checklist
that will assess the state of preparedness or readiness of National Capital Region.
During the workshop, the organization will find out the strengths and weaknesses of
the action plan and know which action plan to prioritize in the next years.
The group answered the worksheet and identified the top 3 strengths, needs
improvement, areas of cooperation in the city.

and owned by a foreign
entity
and
therefore
contractual
obligations
within these entities can
