For my goal to develop, organize and facilitate STEM

Professional Development for K-12 teachers, I focused on

two tasks that also served to further the mission of STEM
Village: workshops and a STEM Certificate. I worked with
Adult and Continuing Education to offer 6 workshops
through STEM Village during this academic year. I planned/
facilitated some of the workshops, and I worked with
external presenters to develop/facilitate the other
workshops.
The following slides include a table of workshops I submitted
through Adult and Continuing Education and offered through
STEM Village, as well as the agenda for the Beyond Base Ten
Blocks workshop I planned and facilitated.

In addition to the workshops, I worked with

educators and STEM professionals to facilitate
creation of course proposals for 5 courses that make
up a STEM Certificate to be offered through STEM
Village. I submitted proposals for these courses and
the STEM Certificate program to Winona State
Universitys course approval process using Curriculog.
The proposals have recently been approved by
Provost, and are nearing the end of the approval
process.
The following slides include a table of course
proposals submitted using Curriculog (and the
proposal authors) and a screenshot of the course
proposals in Curriculog.

There is one additional artifact in support of this goal,

which is available by clicking the button below this
slideshow.
I have included the Curriculog STEM Equity and Access
course proposal, which I created in collaboration with
Malachi Johnson, who is a Rochester Public School teacher
and was member of the initial STEM Village Advisory
Committee. This document can be found under Additional
Artifacts.
