expressesherconcernaboutthehighpricesoforganicfoodthroughherresearchdoneon
farmersinadditiontothelistoflawsandrestrictionstheyface.Thearticleisconfigured

totheaudienceseyeandbringsasuperficialrepresentationofwhattheauthoris
saying.Theimageofthesameproductbutonewasgrownorganicallyandonewas
grownwithchemicalsubstances;thisemphasizesthedrasticchangesinpricesthat
signifythatthereisanissuebecauseofthepricedifference.Thisimageisused
appropriatelyandeffectivelytoconveytheultimateissuethatorganicfoodismore
expensivethanregularfoodbecauseofregulationsandrulesinplaceduetothe
rigorousguidelinesinproducingorganicfood.
AsseeninboththeverbaltextandthePSA,FeltonandGiknavorianshow

twodifferentdepictionsofthesameissue.Throughtheexplicituseofemotional,
logicalandcredibleappeals,Giknavorianisabletocreateaneffectiveargument
throughherPSAimage.Throughthisspecificimage,Giknavorianhighlightsthe
drasticpricesandhowitshouldntbeblamedonthefarmeronly.Thisconvincing
argumentusestherhetoricalstrategiestohelpconvincetheaudiencethatfarmers

ManypeopleviewthisPSAwithoutanybackgroundknowledgeontheissue.
Theyquicklyglanceandquicklybecomeintriguedbecauseoftheimageselectionthat
bringsthemtotheattentionoftheoverallissue.TheyeventuallyrealizedthatthisPSA
andverbaltextbothutilizerhetoricalappealstocommunicatetheoverallissue.
