The nursing Routines have not


changed just the areas where it is
practiced.

In this article they explain in detail


of what the job is requiring you to
do in the current year. It has 5
different thing a Nurse must do
while with a Patient and after
seeing them. The First is
Assessment this is a Hands on
assessment as well as a mental
assessment. The second is
Diagnosis nurses use this along
with the assessment and help the
Doctor to see what is going on with
the patient. The third is
Outcome/Plan using what was
learned in the assessment and
diagnosis the nurse will then set an
outcome and plan of action for the
patient. The fourth is
Implementation this is when the
Care plan is enforced. The last
thing is Evaluation after the care

Nursing was a
considered Diploma
nursing or Hospital
Nursing
Nurses completed a 2
year Associates
Degree in nursing like
today, and even went
on to do 3years or
more for masters
degree.

This gives a more accurate


account of the percentage of
women in the field in 1975,
the total percentage was
97%.
