Project Goal
The Visible Innovation team will create online learning modules in order to educate current students, alumni,
and faculty from the University of Memphis about the Engaged Scholarship Community. Based on example
modules obtained from Michigan State, the modules will be created to stand alone as well as have the ability
to be adapted and included within all departments within the University of Memphis.

engagement enhances the undergraduate academic

The Visible Innovation team will create online learning modules in order to educate current students, alumni, and
faculty from the University of Memphis about the Engaged Scholarship Community. Based on example modules

The online learning modules will deliver the following:

Deliver an interactive online tutorial according to clients guidelines


Be easy to navigate
Incorporate immediate feedback
Award certificate upon completion
Avoid cognitive load on the part of the learner
Be available on a variety of browsers, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Chrome
