DAILY LESSON PLAN

I. PREPARATION

Lesson: English (vocabulary teaching)

Topic to teach: words about how to talk about someone else’s life.

Approach and Method: Communicative Laguage Teaching

Overall Objectives of the lesson: By the end of this lesson, students will improve their
vocabulary by being able to talk about someone else’s daily life. They will have a broad
understanding about different way of live.

Behavioral Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
recognize words about settlement and talk about someone else’s daily life.
use the target vocabulary in sentence

II. PRESENTATION

1. Warm-Up and Motivation: The teacher greets the students and then asks the
class if they know anything about Amish people and their way of life or maybe their
choice of the life.
2. Stating the Instructional Objectives: The teacher says to the students that they
will see a passage about different way of Amish people, and they will learn different
words to describe Amish or someone else’s life.
3. Presenting the Instructional Objectives: The teacher tells the students to look at
pre-rerading activities and answer them. Then teacher wants students to read the
passage.
III. PRACTICE
After the students have read the passage, they try to find the best answer in the exercise
which will improve their vocabulary. In this part, teacher forms small groups, gives them
some words, and wants the students to write a short story about the words he has given them.
By doing that, he elicits the answer from the students subconsciously.

IV. PRODUCTION
In this part, there are some questions which are based on creative thinking in the language.
Teacher forms discussion groups and wants them to discuss the questions.
V. SUMMARY
The teacher sums up the lesson in a few sentences.

VII.ASSINGMENT
Teacher wants the students to bring five different passage about different religious groups to
the class next class.
