Description

Students will write genre that improve the students relationship


with people or know how professionally interact with the people.
The students will practice writing letters formally by writing
dear ..... and informally. One day they practice letter writing as
Goldilock's post reading activity to write apology letter for the
three bears.
This is formal social writing because it has "dear" at the
beginning. The students practice this type of writing with
knowing the basic elements that should be in invented card such
as time, day and date.
This is real type of writing.
The students practiced writing the main information about the
daynasor.
The students will write about their experience in their writing.
Such as "Their experience".
The students write steps of how doing or making something.
They practiced writing the steps of washing their hands. The
teacher gave them (Bossy) words like open close... to help them
to write the method of doing, preparing or making something.
This type of writing is similar to report writing but it deal with
science information. The students will write how thing are
happened such as how the plant grow.
In this type of writing, the students will practice labeling the
objects by writing the names on it or beside it. It used in science
lesson when they label the parts of the plant.
The students read the word and see the picture that describe the
word. This activity help them to match between the print and the
picture.
It is type of writing that requires fill the grid with appropriate
information. The teacher gave the students some countries with
asking them to write in the grid the location (At which
continent?), the main events and what they produce.

Dictionary work

With giving task that has points, the students will make a list for
something that are related together. for example list of wild
animals.
The students will figure out the meaning of the words from the
dictionary. Then they will write on the extra piece of paper.

Book review

The students review about the books with explaining why they
like them and about the content.

Listing writing

3.Poem

4. Imagination writing

Poem is a genre that has repetitive phrases or sounds. The


students can turn the poem to lovely songs. I observed some
students love to write poem so the teacher encourage them to
write the poem and present them in front of the class as a song.
The students imagine that they are in some situation so they will
write what think might happen or what they will do to act with
this situation.

Reflection for student writing sample:

The child master writing correct simple sentence. He/she put subject and
object and end his/her sentence with appropriate punctuation.
Related to lower and upper case, she/he can form the most of the letter
correctly. However, all the letters were written at same portion. The student
also almost mastering the phonological awareness by writing all the words
right as he/she hear them accept "parrot "word.
